I’m Valerie! A proud Boricua who finds inspiration in the ocean’s endless waves and snow-covered mountains.

Snowboarding in the Rockies and my connection to Puerto Rico have shaped my perspective—two worlds, both filled with adventure and freedom. As a graphic designer, I’ve always dreamed of creating something that reflects my passion for both.

That’s why I started Sol y Nieve, a snowboarding & surf-inspired shop featuring clothing, accessories, and gear that blend island soul with mountain spirit. Every design is a tribute to the love of sun, snow, and endless stoke.

We are also committed to giving back—a portion of each sale supports organizations in Puerto Rico and the snowboarding community, helping to preserve the places and cultures that inspire us. Whether it's protecting the beaches of Puerto Rico or making snow sports more accessible, our goal is to keep the stoke alive for future generations.
